Stephen is a working class, award-winning, emerging author of speculative fiction and Jolly Rancher enthusiast from the North-East of England.
In 2019 he left the grind of a 9-5 to study English literature and Creative Writing at Northumbria University. In 2023 he became a first-generation graduate, and in 2024 he achieved a MA in Creative Writing.
His work has been published in Mid-Level Management Literary Magazine, Punk Noir Magazine, and Schlock! Science Fiction Magazine.
He’s been awarded a Northern Writers Award, the Chris K. Jones Scholarship for creative writing, DYCP funding and was on the 2024 British Fantasy Awards Jury.
